This is all Superfluous' fault ;-)

I know, I know it's been more than a year since I posted something on the lounge, sorry, life is quite hetic... But I have a good reason to come back! In 2018, Craig aka @Superfluous posted a new Cross-zip by RMC in wool with leather trims. I like the concept a lot but it is RMC, meaning it's...

    Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

I don’t think I understand. For me, the word cordovan derives from Cordoue or rather Córdoba, the city in Spain and is a type of leather. And if you refer to the French “heart of wine” for me it’s the Burdundy region or Gironde and its city of Bordeaux (but it’s debatable all French people will...

    Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

Thank you! I’m so happy with the results I think next year I will ask Brian to relast my black Wesco on his 1940 last and I already planned to send him my Wolverine 1K they’re in need of a good resole. I think you mean burgundy if you are referencing to the color of my boots. I don’t know if...

    Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

Hello everyone, It’s been a while since I posted something on the lounge. So I came back because I just got my Wesco Boss back from Brian at Role Club. I like the color of my burgundy Wesco but the round toe and the standard buckles were not to my taste and moreover the leather was hard and...

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I would understand it from collar to bottom, too. So no precision where he takes his measure, collar included or bottom of the collar is fair game.

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

My bad I didn’t read correctly the quote. You are right. Was there any punctuation in the original sentence ? Because you can read it two ways : Longueur du col au bas du blouson Length of the collar to bottom of the jacket Longueur: du col au bas du blouson Length : from collar to bottom of...

How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Hi, it means the measure is taken from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the jacket. So without the collar. Hope this help and if you need other translations don’t hesitate to send me a PM.

    U-boat leather jacket options

That was the main reason I asked for a shorter length. I’m not tall (158cm) and if I wear long coat I look like a dwarf in it.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I live in the south of France so it’s not that cold (8°C) but my area has a lot of wind (windchill -1°C). Like I said at the moment it’s quite strong. Even some Canadians think it’s colder here because of the wind than in Montreal... (I know crazy) and for someone living in the south of France...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I wish everyone a happy new year and good health for you and your loved ones! So today to keep warm with this horrible windchill (100km/h) I wear my Aero B3

    U-boat leather jacket options

As promised : Be aware, mine is custom made. It’s my only regret, I should have ask a longer length. But when I see the Japan repro I think I’m still good.

    Aero Shackleton Explored

Mmmmm adding too much pockets and stuffing them with different objects... I’m afraid it will look like a photographer vest. Don’t forget that a vest drap differently than a jacket. It’s really close to the body. Here 2 months old photo. Today, it is too cold to only wear the vest but it is great...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I’m in Portugal at the moment and for this adventure I choose my Indy Jacket from Tony Nowak Original, but this isn’t my shrunken lamb one. This is goatskin : light, durable, water repellent to some extent... and lot of pockets! The perfect adventure jacket in my opinion.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

No jacket needed today... and nearly too hot for the Shackleton vest.

Looking for a shearling jacket for winter, any advice for B3,B6,D1 or other?

You’ll see, I’m sure you’re going to love it. The lightweight B3 is really useful and with my Himel Kensington, theses two get the most compliments.
