Having done an experiment, l now have much more of an idea of what l am doing. Thanks to @Rmccamey I was able to do online sizing and nail the fit. The main thing was that the boater was an oval shape and had the right measurements. The crazy part is that they sent me the wrong hat band...- The Shooman
