Harrison's ? i've felt the heavier mid-grey one which is about 18oz.... very similar feel to the Fox standard (not LL range) grey flannel 18oz ... a good classic flannel.
can't comment on the 15 oz though as i haven't handled it.

you mean the Bedford cord ? i don't think i actually got a price from them. TT has the swatches now, so he will be able to tell you if they had a price on.
p.s. for anyone who was following the earlier corduroy discussion....i have some of this cord on the way, from the trouser maker who made stuff for Bookster.
still don't know who the manufacturer of the cord is (i will ask in the next email).

thinking about it, perhaps the bottom fastening looks unbalanced to me on these 30s examples because they still have a lot more waist suppression than the later bold look 'boxier' styles.

to me, there's little difference in overall effect if the long line is achieved by 'rolling' the lapel to the bottom button, or by having a 4 x 1 fastening.
that also looks, to me, like a jacket that was made to be fastened at the middle button.
on the 'long line roll': i'm also not a fan of the low-buttoning DB. there might be something of a US / Euro divide on this look.
it seems to appeal to those who dabble in the bold, late 40s look and...
they're great, but i think they'd look even better in the dull steel / aluminium (same as that mini caravan in the background of the first two shots) rather than chrome.
