FS -- Men's Lucchese Classic Cowboy Boots 11D

OK, I've banished all indecision and ambivalence, and now -- for real this time -- I have a pair of men's black ranch hand Lucchese Classics boots for sale. The size is 11D. Unfortunately, they just never fit me as well as I had hoped, so hopefully someone else will have better luck than myself...

Thanks. Also, thanks for the welcome, but really, I should be welcoming you to the forum, as I've been a member longer than you (although I've racked up far fewer posts)! ;)

    Cowboy Boots

Maybe if it were a pair of boots that I just had to have! :D

Maybe you could wear extra socks or thick hiking socks?

    Cowboy Boots

Here's a pair that I recently ordered: The style is Lucchese 1883 N1596 (tan ranch hand). They're gonna replace the Lucchese 1883 tan mad dogs whose picture I posted earlier. In fact, because I'm selling them on eBay, as well as the pair of Lucchese 1883 chocolate mad dogs (which I also...

    Cowboy Boots

Hey, what do y'all think about the type of cowboy boots that seems to be popular today, that is, the kind with a short heel and either a square or a round toe (not pointy or in-between round and pointy)? Examples of this type of boots include these, these, these, and these. It seems like I...

Cool boots, Spencer! How often do you wear your boots?

Thanks ... ya know, now I'm thinking those Lucchese 1883's that I posted might just be keepers after all.

    Cowboy Boots

Yeah, those were the stock photos. Here are pics of my own boots . . . first, the tan mad dogs: Now for the chocolate mad dogs: I took the pics with my phone, so I apologize that they're not of the best quality.

    Cowboy Boots

Unfortunately, I wear an 11. Sorry to disappoint you. :( I'd like to add that one reason I'm not so sure whether or not I really like my Lucchese 1883s is because IMO they look better in the pics. The tan mad dogs look to be an almost golden tan color in the photo, but they look duller in...

    Cowboy Boots

Just thought I'd share my latest boot purchase -- I was in Oklahoma last week, and I ended up buying a pair of Red Wing 2231s: They replaced the Red Wing 1155s that I had once upon a time. I made the mistake of selling the 1155s on eBay because I had other boots, but then I regretted it, as I...

    Show us your SHOES !!!

I guess I might as well post a couple shoe pics too. Rather than show my entire shoe collection, I'm gonna merely show a couple notable pairs I wore last week. In the first pic I'm wearing vintage LL Bean bluchers -- the kind still made in the USA: And in this one I'm wearing vintage...

    What are you wearing today??

Well, assuming that you probably wear white socks with cowboy boots, just make sure to wear dark socks with loafers if you don't already. True, I know white socks with loafers was common in the 50s (at least among teens), but it doesn't automatically mean it was good or right. ;)

    What are you wearing today??

Hey, thanks for the welcome; as for the style you and I often sport, I guess it's true what they say -- great minds DO think alike!

    What are you wearing today??

I highly doubt this would be considered vintage . . . I've lurked on this forum for a while but have only posted 5 times or so. I can't really say my attire is vintage (unless the 1980s or even 1990s can also be considered vintage). At any rate, here's what I was wearing on Thursday (I took...

    Cowboy Boots

Yeah, cowboy boots can be hot to wear, which is why a lot of folks, myself included, don't wear them during the summer at all. As for socks, I think most folks wear cotton socks with their boots. I do. Heck, most boot socks have some cotton in them, even though the primary material may be...

    Cowboy Boots

I wish that were true, but no, I'm afraid Durango boots are now made in China and have been for quite some time. It's a shame too because they offer some good-looking boots!

    Cowboy Boots

Thanks for the welcome! My tastes in boots are basically the same as yours -- I prefer to wear boots with jeans and occasionally khakis, but never with suits. For that reason, I much prefer non-shiny boots as well. As for toe, I prefer either midway between pointy and round or snip-toe (which...

Aaronlowe: 1. How many pairs of boots do you currently have? 2. Do you wear cowboy boots exclusively? Oh wait, never mind the first question. I saw a previous thread of yours where you posted pics of your boot collection. Man, those are some nice boots you got!

    Cowboy Boots

Another cowboy boot thread ... Hey y'all, I'm new here, and having seen a thread on cowboy boots on this forum (about 25 pages long), I'd like to ask a boot-related question. I already have 1 pair of boots (tan Lucchese 1883 mad dog goat), but I'm tempted to get even more pairs (at least one...
