    Before I go to work...

I think jeans and a cardigan are too casual for a job interview that isn't trade- or construction related. I'd go with khakis and a sport coat. I don't have enough information to say whether you should wear a tie.

    Well, it's over.

I was just thinking of expediency. This boyfriend probably doesn't have the money to fill up the gas tank. And I don't think you can legally order a spouse out of the marital home. Richard will probably have to buy his wife's share of the house. I sometimes work on divorce cases. The more...

    Well, it's over.

Get a lawyer. Immediately, if not sooner. This man should NOT be left alone with your kids. The second thing to do is fix her truck so she can pack it up and leave. You might be thinking logically, and your kids might be thinking logically, but your wife isn't. A logical person knows better...

    OT: weightloss bragging inside

Good for you, Kamikat! I admire you for running five kilometers. I'm in good shape, but I can't run very far!

    Pear shape body...

If a woman doesn't want a pear shape, she can be lean and toned without starving herself or running herself ragged. I've said it before, but I really like Body for Life: you work out three hours a week and eat six small meals a day. I feel great on it. It also allows one free day a week where...

    any health/exercise aficionados out there?

I actually ate more after I went on Body for Life. Before, I hadn't been eating enough protein (which builds muscle) or carbohydrates (which gives you energy). I was constantly hungry, but I was getting fatter. And I did aerobics once or twice a week. BFL isn't the only way to get in shape...

    Pear shape body...

I used to have a size 6 top and size 8 bottom. Then I went on Body for Life and had to get rid of my pants and have my skirts taken in. But then I had an injury and illness a year ago that made it hard for me to exercise and eat right and I'm now trying to work off enough butt and waist to get...

    The myth!

I think people tend to need more room now not because they're taller, but because they're fatter. It's easier to draw in your arms and legs when you're thin. Smaller clothes might have been purchased by someone in their late teens, outgrown, and left in a trunk.

Kicking the Coke Habit: Hello, Clear Skin

I've noticed that my skin is a lot less flaky since going off Coke. Can't chalk it up to the weather; it's been very dry lately.

    Pale or Tan?

I have a coworker around age 50 who likes the deep tan look and uses tanner. Another coworker asked her if she covered herself in shoe polish. And yes, she looks like a well worn bag.

    Pale or Tan?

The skin on the legs is thicker and takes longer to tan.

    Pale or Tan?

A small amount of tan, especially on my legs. But I let them stay pasty white for the sake of my health.

    any health/exercise aficionados out there?

I can't recommend Body for Life highly enough. You eat six small meals a day and work out about three hours per week. It's gotten me into the best shape of my life. And you'll feel great and get results quickly. Check out the Web site: the before and after pictures were taken 12 weeks apart...

Ladies and Gents, A dating issue/question

My point was that "it doesn't get better than the first date," as some people say. From what you've written, it sounds like the relationship hasn't been very good in a long time (ever?). I've never seen a relationship of any kind go from bad to good, no matter how much was put into it. On a...

    Revitalization of Towns?

I agree that downtown definitely isn't the suburbs. It has an energy that doesn't exist in rambling office campuses and big box stores in a sea of asphalt. It's great to be able to walk to the library, shopping, the movies, dancing and restaurants. I feel safe here late at night. As for...

Ladies and Gents, A dating issue/question

Ms. Glamour, I'm curious: what was your first date with your boyfriend (if you don't mind my asking)?

Ladies and Gents, A dating issue/question

Ms. Glamour, as I read it, you sound miserable and would like to break things off, but it's hard. If that is the case, here's my suggestion: when you find yourself in a hole, stop digging. There's never going to be a time when it will be easy to end the relationship. If you're going to end it...
