At our Colorado get-together, our group reminded the restaurant hostess of the 1920s (scroll down the link for a photo).
Maybe it would be easier to approach this from another angle. Figure out how much higher the cost of living is in LA vs. where you live now. Multiply your current wages by that factor.
Also a fairly high neckline. And high armholes! :rolleyes:
Many of them had a lot of piping, pockets and other details missing in today's androgenous black pantsuits.

I put a spoonful of baking soda in my shampoo once in a while to get all the styling product gunk out of my hair. Baking soda can be used to clean many things.
My employer does some type of personality test. Pretty much all accountants fit a certain type, and just about everyone they've fired fits a different type. (By the way, I think my employer is great.:)

I think I got the same thing when I took those tests. I think it had to do with how I was feeling on a particular day.

If my house smells bad, it's usually because I need to clean the refrigerator. Otherwise, I either open a window or burn some incense.
However, my favorite dance place smells of coffee. Mmm.
