there's a pair of deadstock tagged trousers marked 52 which are supposedly 40 cm waist (halved), which is about 31".
then there's a pair tagged 46 which are supposedly 39 cm.
how on earth could there only be 2 cm between those two sizes ?
i have a suit with identical lapels, shoulder pleats and rear vent which i'd always assumed was mid 30s, but i'd be happy if i found out it was a bit earlier.
TT, nothing wrong with your goatee, but in general i'm not a fan as it always seems to zoom the whole look forward to about 1958 because of it's strong beatnik associations.
