    i sent them a query and turns out there was a mistake in the listing. they're actually a 35.5" so a Euro 52 after all.

    i suspect that the 52's have either been measured or tagged incorrectly. maybe the tags should be ignored.

    there's a pair of deadstock tagged trousers marked 52 which are supposedly 40 cm waist (halved), which is about 31". then there's a pair tagged 46 which are supposedly 39 cm. how on earth could there only be 2 cm between those two sizes ?

    i have a suit with identical lapels, shoulder pleats and rear vent which i'd always assumed was mid 30s, but i'd be happy if i found out it was a bit earlier.

    TT, nothing wrong with your goatee, but in general i'm not a fan as it always seems to zoom the whole look forward to about 1958 because of it's strong beatnik associations.

    supposedly the 'Plot 22' shoot has been seen by some viewers as sexist because the young ladies are all serving food or knitting: http://oldtownnews.tumblr.com/ as with most Old Town 'news' entries, this shouldn't be taken too seriously. their sense of humour is as dry as their goods.
