Appreciate the kind words, Dennis, but I'm afraid I can't take credit for that fine hat, which was originally posted by tonyB earlier in the thread, on page 2. In responding to the thread with quotes I accidentally deleted the
and so it may have appeared that I posted both photos. I have...
Thanks again, John. Look forward to seeing you in one of Art's fine lids soon!
Lexybeast, I appreciate the kind words. Hope the weather is a bit cooler now in the O.C.
Thanks for the feedback, gents.
The hat belonged to the father of an acquaintance in our town, who had impeccable taste, and was fastidious in every aspect of his life.
I am still trying to identify the style of the hat. The center crease made me wonder whether the hat was intended to...
Appreciate the kind words, gents.
So many of Art's colors are appealing it really is difficult to decide....IF you reconcile to only having one!

I will try to capture the ribbon color more accurately and post...
Thanks, DRB.
Indeed, 3700+ posts(in this thread and others) worth of due diligence! The photos and feedback were invaluable, and ultimately Art's input finalized my decision.
I must say that I am a bit surprised at the paucity of satin finish hats out there, as Art does an amazing satin...
