not really... i can wear a 17.5" shoulder mid 30s jacket or a 16" early 20s narrow shoulder.
both 'fit' in their different ways. just depends what style you're going for.
p.s. the angle of armhole isn't the only difference between the shoulders mentioned on the last page of course.

Rudie, some early 20s suits had a very narrow shoulder seam to shoulder seam measurement, meaning that your shoulder fills out the sleevehead like this:

there's nearly always some small designer label or other offering high waisted trousers (e.g. Joe Casely Hayford, Herr Von Eden) but they never seem to influence the mainstream.

to me it looks like a draught excluder for when the vents are open when seated in the saddle.
sorry to be a doom monger, but i wouldn't expect the trousers inspired by that film to be a hit with FL members, especially as most FL members want wide legged high waisted trousers.
