I think bangs and a shoulder-length hairstyle would suit you better. You have a high forehead and bangs would give your face a more oval proportion. A shoulder-length style would fit your youthful character better than the femme fatale look.
I'm sorry about your hat. If you lose your temper, though, you'll end up looking like Frank Burns on M*A*S*H. Remember all the practical jokes he went through? If he'd been able to shrug it off, it wouldn't have been any fun for the jokers and they would have stopped.
Of course, some people...
I thought it was just shoes. Long ago, they probably got muddy and stained from being worn in mud or snow.
As for a white bag, if I go anyplace where I'd have to set it on the floor or ground or other dusty place, it stays home.
Re: video games--I feel the same way about the TV. Unless it's a party based on what's on TV (like a Superbowl party), I think it's a lot easier to visit if it's off.
Never tried it. I have eaten lamb's quarters, though. It's a weed that grows out West, and it's not bad. My father ate that, too, during the Depression.
Do nasturtiums grow in Arizona as prolifically as they do in California? You can eat those...as well as dandelions, raspberry leaves...
My dad used to make his own bullets, too. He also reloaded brass. When he was a kid, he overhead a conversation between his father and another man making a swap. The man said, "Don't tell your kids it's horse meat."
I do without most of the aforementioned stuff. But I do like the microwave: it's faster and uses less energy than the stove. It definitely doesn't heat up the kitchen in the summer. And it's not that modern: the first microwave went on the market in 1947.
I have the 1940 edition of Emily Post's Etiquette at home. If anyone has a burning need to find something out about manners of that era, I'll look it up.
I don't think the problem is that friends can't become lovers--it does happen. Rather, if someone isn't into you, you'll know sooner if you ask her on a date instead of some friendly, daytime, Dutch treat outing.
I shop at two stores: Sunflower Market, which has great produce and meat and low prices, and King Soopers, where I buy most other groceries. The grocery game covers Kings, but not Sunflower. I'll give you about a month's worth of results for King's:
April 22: saved 42%, or $7.76.
April 29...
If you go to the bottom of the page, you'll see where you can get a 4-week trial for $1.
I cut out coupons and put them in a coupon book by category--I don't like to hang on to newspapers. The list is in a table form that shows regular price, sales price, and any coupon info. If you can read...
I've used thegrocerygame.com for years, and it's a rare week that I don't save at least $1.25. They list dozens of items and whether it's the store's best price or just a semi-sale price, and whether there's a coupon.
My tips:
Shop on the perimeter of the store, away from all the expensive processed stuff.
Use thegrocerygame.com to see what's on sale and whether there's a coupon for it. It's $1.25 per week, with a free trial.
Don't let food sit out--it will go bad faster if you do. Wrap it up and put...
Helpless women always manage to find men. If they don't find you, they'll find someone else. I don't think your suits have much to do with your attracting helpless women.
