I've always liked western hats. Their lines are almost as cool as fedoras. I still have and wear several different ones now and then. Let's see you wearing yours...
Thanks. lady and gentlemen. I didn't know about the reflection until I downloaded the photo and looked at it. :)
Congrats, Carey, on the One Thousand mark!
He did a remarkable job for me on a very old and fine Montechristi Panama hat. Great communication, guidance and expertise. It was here at The Fedora Lounge that I learned of his operation and I'm glad I knew enough to send that hat to him.
See, now that's the kind of hat that bridged the period between my western hat wearing and my vintage fedora wearing. I still like those types of hats, leather bands and all. Adventurous looking and still smart.

I really wanted to try to convince you guys that I bought it but I couldn't type it with a straight face.
I wish him luck collecting from the 'lucky winner' who discovers his high bid got put to the test.
DOGONNIT - - That's not half the hat it used to be.
Sorry to learn about another casualty, and welcome to TFL.
Beaver content in a fedora does not make them shiny. You're getting good advice here. Good luck!
I hate to hear that, WB. Whatchagonnado, I guess, but man, that is sad news. I think you'll have no problem looking just as smart in the next one. It wasn't THAT hat necessarily, but the way that style suits you which was so impressive. And, no doubt, it will be again...
