No kidding, my heart flutters when I hold this hat! The Brent Black, though, way too small..... about a 7-1/8 by my best estimate. But it runs between 21 and 24 wpi by my count, so 441 to 576 wpsi. It has a 3-1/4" brim, and a pencil curl around the sides and back. What a sweet hat, but it... -

I grabbed a few outdoor lighting pics. I'm certainly not the best photographer! I love this hat. Taller than usual crown, wide brim, tight weave, gorgeous semi-calado pattern, and super light. I see one purveyor of toquilla referring to the pattern on semi-calados as fretwork. -

Looking for hat information?
A dedicated hat box is what I use for stowing hats in the trunk or the back seat. There are hard-sided boxes but I just use a cardboard shipping box that a hatter sent me for a custom I ordered. On the beach is tough, but we always have one person stay behind and watch our stuff. -
