STETSONS EXCELLENT QUALITY 150th ANNIVERSARY "FORTUNE and GLORY"
I saw these promoted over eighteen months ago and had yet to see one for sale.
So I jumped on it when I saw it. I'm chuffed.
I have Borsos like FB's, but I can't afford one of his good bows. Expensive hobby.
We tallied it up and figgered you spend about $100/lb for venison, once you get tags, transport,
FINDING somewhere, gear, prep, processing et al.
Maybe I'll stick to fishing.
JUST PICKED UP THIS ODDS BODKINS SOME MAY HAVE SEEN
With fall turkey season coming up, deer to follow, I just took a shine to this 'un the first time I seen it. And as rough as I am on gear, at least it will not show the wear, tear, blood, sweat and tears quite so much eh?
...but ya'll tell...
The "ball cap" of fedoras?
Got this beat to Hades, moth eaten old thing the other day for nuttin'.
and I really like to throw it on when doin' a beer run or working in the yard. I have thought about making it a SUMMER fur felt and let it acquire character - e.g. -earn sweat rings, blood...
'cuz they have some nice looking straws. The semi-calado, below, I am especially enamored of.
So who knows of this place, has their hats or can tell me something about these guys. They seem righteous and on the bubble.
A couple of years ago, when this hat was news, I quite eagerly got it (and the shantung too).
I found that it fell far short of my expectations for what a $150 Stetson panama hat should be.
My .02
BINGO!
I think it ^%#$-up the market for both seller & buyers.
It seems an idiotic technique but he really does have some great hats if your head is small enough.
ADDENDUM(B)-
As they are labeled "Cucnca" perhaps these are NOT Monti's... "der-de-dur"... but they DO look nice n' tight and the price can't be beat.
