One Extra Large size Saddleback leather briefcase in chestnut brown.
I bought this item recently from EBAY. It is a very beautiful bag, and absolutely as good as everyone says. I have recieved many compliments on it, but have found it is just too big for my personal needs...
I know this is unusual, selling an Art Fawcett hat. This is actually a very nice hat in very good shape. I love to look at this hat, but I find I never wear it, because it doesn't really match my clothes. I've worn it very little in the time I've had it. It is loosely based on Art's HST...
I haven't watched that movie for years. I had loved hats for years, and it's a good hat movie, but my favorite wardrobe item was always Costners belted leather coat he wears in the Canada scenes. I thought it looked so good coupled with a fedora. It took me years to find a suitable 3/4 length...
I recently won this Saddleback briefcase on OFAS. Its the x-large, chestnut brown. I really like it, except that it is bigger than I thought, kinda looks like I'm carrying a suitcase. I'll try it for a while, then see about trading for a smaller size.
With A2 and Allen Edmonds Park...
I ordered my Barnstormer with tartan wool lining. I don't know if it is warmer than alpaca, but I understand it is more durable. I have worn it outdoors for extended periods in 10-20 F comfortably, but I usually layer underneath with a wool sweater or poly / wool thermal.
See, when I button my Barnstormer, I always have to fasten the belt, else it looks out of sorts to me. I also just use the big pockets for handwarming.
I think they might be breeding!!
I definitely have to show this to my wife, she thinks I'm nuts for having 5 hats. I don't know how to tell her I'm looking at a 6th.
Are any of them size 7 1/8? If so, can I be in your will? ;)
The sweater vest I own, charcoal trousers are a good idea, but a Smith and Wesson revolver?? Are you kidding? Doesn't my user name clearly state 1911 Man? ;)
Actually I own 2 S&W's, I love my model 19 .357
Thank you.
2 1/2" brim, 5 1/2" open crown (I think), bashed by Art. Like others stated, the bash sort of came loose in shipping, so I moistened the crown with a tiny amount of distilled water and held the shape until it stayed. It now comes in at 4 1/2" front and 4" in back. 18 ligne...
Barrow, in my exitement to post my own pics, I rudely ignored yours. My apologies, sir. Your new hat is excellent as well. I really like it.
I have considered a black hat many times. The first custom hat I saw that got me started in this crazy obsession was a black hat. A few years ago a...
So it started simple. I told Art I wanted a replica of the Stetson Whippet (since they're so darn hard to find for a good price!!) in dark brown.
It arrived on Friday. I think he hit this one right out of the park. It is stunning in person, I know the photos don't do it justice. The felt...
Would all of you that own a gray herringbone sportcoat please post some pics of shirts and trousers you would recommend wearing with it. I'm trying to get some ideas. Thanks.
Whereas I am only 5'10, my face shape is average (not too thick or thin) but I've got a semi long chin. I find stingy brims and short crowns give me an almost Elmer Fuddish look, so I usually stick with 2 1/2 inch brims and 5 1/2 open crowns. I also think it just looks classic, which is the...
