Whatever it was that caused the crash, it was immensely tragic and shocked people the world over. Buddy's songs are timeless, and Ritchie's and the Bopper's hits are classics of the era. @2jakes, wow man, what a lineup at the Municipal Auditorium! That would've been so cool. About the time I...
Come on down to Sydney fellas. You'll feel right at home on the road (not in the 106 degree heat we had yesterday though) sitting there going nowhere, and paying big toll fees for the privilege. But hey, there's already 5 million people crammed in here with enough roads and trains to service...
I always try to find the 'sweet spot' where a given commodity is neither too expensive nor too cheap. I figure too expensive means you're paying for a name more than just the quality of the item, and too cheap means the item is rubbish. Of course this doesn't always equate in the real world...
I reckon over time that natural leather does attain a similar tone. Glad u guys like it, it's funny because I've never met any of you in person but I have a huge amount of respect for you all and your opinions and strongly respect we'd have a real blast if got to hang out together in the real...
Thanks JJ, here are some pics from the end of winter here after a good amount of wear. You can see some nice creasing on the arms starting and lighter tones beginning to creep through the honey colour that just look great.
That is a whole talent unto itself isn't it? I haven't seen much artificial distressing that looks good from any other makers, maybe a couple of light Eastman offerings, but Thedi just makes it look so cool.
Possibly the best-looking grizzly I've seen, just in my opinion of course. The sleek glossy cow hair looks amazing. I know women who've tried 20 different conditioning products over the years trying to get that shine in their hair! lol I've said it before, well, quite a few of us have, but...
Just saw this after being off for school holidays here with the kids. I only have one custom hat, and it's a silvermist VS that I cherish. On the one hand I'm so glad that you were on top of the diagnosis Art and that you are going onwards and upwards, and on the other hand it's sad to see you...
I hang 'em all up on wooden hangers. During winter I sometimes leave one on the back of a chair for a day to two when I'm wearing jackets constantly, just because I'm too lazy to walk twenty steps out to the back wardrobe and hang it up again knowing I'll want it the next day.
Been out of the picture for a few weeks, school holidays here and been busy with the kids. Came back today to see the Thedi and yep, it looks great on you HD. Congratulations!
Now guys, coming from a guy who was 15 in 1984, Big J the ultimate 80s jacket has to be one of those orange & black Michael Jackson jackets like in his film clips from the era. We all wanted one then but being Australia we had no idea how we could get one, let alone afford it!
Cool Nick, that's us all right plus it's from the 80s when I got my first leather jacket so it's a thumbs up from me. We could only top it if someone could find a song titled I Obsess About the Fit and Every Detail of My Leather Jacket. lol
