I also have the UB321. Love them, wear them almost every day. I have one pair of denim for summer and two pairs for non-summer and these are one of the two pairs. Initially they were rough to deal with for sure, but after a month or two they felt great, now they feel amazingly comfortable. One...
Didn't really want to make a separate thread about this so I'll just shoot here.
Anyone ever tried mesh/fishnet/net base layers? What do you think?
I have this one (without shoulder pads) from Brynje : https://www.brynje.no/gb/en/super-thermo-shirt-w-shoulder-inlay
I'm too...
@ton312
Very cool Indigofera jacket! "FARGO RIDER JACKET"?
On the topic of wrecking jacket lining with abrasion.. Noticed that my 1 month old Aero jacket moleskin lining already has a hole forming on the bottom hem where the leather is stacked and protrudes as a high stress point. Sad..
I can't really imagine wearing duck canvas type 1 jacket that I got a month or two ago as an underlayer because it's just so abrasive - almost like sand paper. I feel like it would wreck the lining of anything that would be covering it.
@AbbaDatDeHat @Will Zach @Marc mndt Thank you for the compliments/support! I have one single hat and I don't even wear that one enough haha. But I think it's one of the best deals I've found in my life - Akubra "Boss" (discontinued) for ~75eu in mint condition from Germany around 2 years ago.
Getting a good feel of how a finished jacket will look like based on a swatch is also tough though. One thing to keep in mind is that making a lighter brown jacket darker is much easier than making a darker brown jacket lighter. Obviously you want it to look exactly how you want right from the...
Not sure how to answer that. Warmth is such varied and complex topic.
Depends on (to name but a few):
- How windy is it? Is the wind from the north or the south?
- How humid is it? Same temp dry is much easier to bear than same temp damp.
- How much are you moving? Huge difference between...
First snow this season in Lithuania today. Temp hovering around freezing.
Testing out the limits of layering with my new Aero Hooch Hauler.
3 layer setup (long sleeve mesh + long sleeve thermal + long neck wool sweater) feel snug but quite ok.
Probably that's as far as I would go with this...
Lots of examples on TFL. Mostly boots.

Shoulders are quite pointy from the back indicating that they are either too wide or just very stiff.
Chest looks good.
Waist is hard to say, can't tell whether your gut more or less fills it out or there a lot of free space there (like in my case with 99% of jackets).
Bottom hem is definitely...
In a way I agree with Ton - I spent a considerable time trying to really nail down my desired measurements before I felt certain enough to order a custom 700eu Aero. If I were to go for a custom 1,5k Thedi I would put even more effort to get as much info and certainty before contacting the maker...
AL/SB kudu monster in UK for 380gbp. Look at that thing, crazy.
https://www.befr.ebay.be/itm/325033716024
Found a few auctions at the same time as well, someone might get a very cheap SB is there aren't enough other bids and you manage to snipe it.. Auction is for 2-3 more days. Both in...
@navetsea love the new hairstyle! That mandarin collar shirt also works very well with your unique (one of the self-made ones again?) jacket. Lovely outfit/look overall.
@Marc mndt Reported, but more effective would be to do the intellectual properly right infringement I guess : https://www.etsy.com/legal/ip
Update: Talked to him and scared him into taking the listing down. I guess everyone should put the words "Verneuil vintage" into their minds and avoid...
