Unfortunately these boots are a little too tight for me when wearing mid weight boot socks. I also prefer a 5 vs 6in boot height.
Only worn once outside for less than an hour.
I’m a 10e brannock and usually wear 9.5e in most heritage boots and 9ee in whites semi dress.

Guess it comes down to luck with some of the mid tier brands. Say you can make 6 pairs per hide, if AE or Alden uses the whole hide, maybe half of them will be well clicked where a higher end brand might only make 3 pairs per hide. I would definitely pay a premium to get a pair of boots from...
Unfortunately my foot just doesn’t fit right in White’s MP/Modified Barrie last. I’m a 10E brannock with low instep, wide ball, and narrow heels. Ball fits well but my toes are cramped and the heel is a little loose. This last is long and is equivalent to 9.5 in length compared to most...
If you went any smaller, it looks like the jacket would be too small in the shoulders and too short in sleeves. This patterned doesn’t lend itself to be worn tight like a MC jacket. The back panels don’t taper down to the waist and it has 2 huge front patch pockets over your midsection. I...
I also find that Vanson does a better job than most when it comes to “clicking” matching panels with same density and thickness of leather. This is probably bc they are a MC jacket maker first.
On my Aero, one sleeve is clearly from the belly portion of the hide while the other is smooth and...
Great range of motion with gusset back that extends to top of shoulders, underarm “footballs”, vertical back seam which helps conform to the anatomy of your back, low placed cinch straps to give you more of a V look vs hour glass with higher placed straps. I personally like the look of a...
I’m still waiting on a pair of Wesco Hendricks. Was told 3 months back in March when I ordered and heard it’s getting pushed back to a year now. White’s quality is shit now and Nick’s is too heavy duty for me, plus I heard their customer service is pretty bad.
The Indo makers seem to have...
Anyone have experience with which Indonesian boot maker uses leather in the 5-6oz range? I have a pair from Benzeins and while very well made, it seems that all the leathers he uses is in the 4oz range and completely lined. It appears that all the makers, except for Onderhoud (hard to get in...
I kind of like how langlitz folds the bottom hem over the liner. Seems like it would be easy to replace when necessary. (Bottom jacket in pic)
When the liner in my Aero starts to fray to the point of needing replacement, I’ll probably just cut the whole bottom hem open like they did on some...
Just wanted to show off this key hook Peng gave me with my Flame Panda boots. It’s pretty ingenious how the coils lock the hook to your belt loop while wearing it. He also “fused” the ring attachment and coil ends so you never have to worry about it separating and falling off.
I used to wear...
I don’t think that is a good idea as that leather is probably highly corrected leather that is pretty thin. I wouldn’t even try to sand full grain leather..just condition it. Sofas that use high quality full grain leather will run at least 5-10k.
Flame Panda boots in hand dyed natural Italian veg tan. Really nice boots that fit perfectly. Took about 5 months longer than quoted but it seems that his popularity has exploded over the past year.
I bought a jacket from a member who was trying to sell it for $400 more than what he paid for it from another member. I ended up buying the jacket for $200 over his purchase price without knowing. I only found out after the fact when the original owner contacted me about the jacket. I was...
The leather wills are made by Langlitz. That’s where the sizing inconsistencies arise between the canvas and leather version. Also, I don’t think that everyone measures the jackets accurately by pulling the jacket taut and using a soft tape measure.
The good thing is that if the canvas...
I didn’t mind the few extra months it took to make them as I realize delays happen. My Wesco order is being pushed back a few months too. The only annoying part is that they’ve been completed for over 2 months and I’m still waiting for a response with a tracking number and confirmation that...
