Hats and Drinks - A Match Made in Heaven

Tanqueray and tonic sounds good! My families after fishing drink! My father was a sales rep for a large beverage distributor. We were only allowed products that he sold in the house. This meant Jim Beam, Chivas Regal, and Tanqueray. Although after retirement we drank Gordon's. Gin and tonic is...

Hats and Drinks - A Match Made in Heaven

Having a couple seasonal Ales last night. The hot afternoon has my wife and I enjoying Irish mules. I'm not a fan of mixed drinks, but this hits the spot on a hot day. Straw is the only option in the Mojave!

Thoroughbred 10x with a Centennial from Founders. They got this right! Perfect balance of pine and citrus. The Centennial hops taste like a combination of Chinook and Cascade. The piney bitterness of Chinook, and the aromatics of Cascde. $15 for a 15 pack, must be the best quality ale at this...

    Hats With Musical Instruments

My Resistol Topeka sits next to my Kentucky KM180s. I bought this mandolin new, 40 years ago. It has aged better than me. I have several mandolins and this one doesn't get played much. I keep it because it's like an old friend, that I've had a lot of good times with.

Great review Eric! I agree with your observations. I noticed the Wee Beastie getting better at the shoulder. I also agree with @Hurricane Jack, that it is best without water. I like the 10 also, but it is completely different.
