    M. E. Glunz & Cie. possibly 1920s. M. E. Glunz & Cie. was in Strassburg / Strasbourg up to WWI. After WWI the owners relocated to Lindenberg and used Ottmar Reich for production. I found this one back in 2010.

    Captain Rob, Thanks! I actually posted a closeup of the brim edge treatment prior to seeing your post. :) It's very precise work. There are no technical flaws I can detect with the entire hat.

    Mark, Thank you! Mayser was especially good at that ribbon / bow treatment. This hat also has very precise binding work with 3 rows of circular stitching which are hard to see in the photos. Here is a close up photo from 2021.

    Ottmar Reich, possibly 1920s. I recently replaced the missing Mother of Pearl Button on the bottom of the Bow. This Stiff Straw Hat is very light in weight. Ottmar Reich started out as Straw Hat Factor in 1938 and added Soft Felt Hat production in 1932. I found this Stiff Straw back in 2016...
