I am not an expert. Very nice jacket and does appear to be A-2. However, is the knits, zipper and lining are original to the jacket then it is a post WWII. The knits are consistent with late forties and fifties. Additionally, A-2 had a different color and type of cotton lining. Lastly, the...
Soon, I will have some nice red wood that will repurpose from a wooden patio I am going to demolish. My plan is to make my own hangers with the wood. Likewise, my daughter went to the second hand store and purchase a box of Nordstrom's' wood hangers. I have used such hangers for a very long...
I saw that jacket on the flesh. Beautiful people to deal with. If you need any help with getting a reproduction belt. Please view one of my thread under collar mouton. Several members have contributed several images containing the proper hardware to recreate an excellent reproduction. Not...

Just a little of that fat on the dry area. A good all jacket cleaning with a horse hairbrush never hurts the leather. Removing dust and other unwanted oils, smoke, ect. It will help the leather stay healthy. Just a little tallow goes a long way.
