Gray day with a decrease in cold
Today it is the turn of a Borsalino Qualità Extra Superiore sold in Denver-Colorado
Its colour is "Amarena" and the hat type is "Gorasgu". It has a slightly fuzzy felt finish and is very soft.
I wore it to warm up the day, but it didn't do much on a day with...
I honestly couldn't give you any information, but the hat is very "usual" for the period so it's difficult to give it a paternity. A lot of Italian production starting from the fifties and for about thirty years was branded with "exoteric" brands from all over Europe and also in other parts of...
Congratulations Marcel. A good bunch of hats. Lupo, Borsalino colour is really erratic. I posted one, ten days ago, completely different. It seems Borsalino used that colour for some "wrong" batch was later called "Lupo". :)
Castorino brand disguise an Italian manufacturer as many others in...
Sunny day with pleasant temperatures. Cold night and temperatures below zero Celsius.
Walk to enjoy the warmth, accompanied by an ancient Thibet made in France expressely for A. Meer - Strasbourg. The hat is more than a hundred years old and is a blend of fur and wool with a shape that can be...
Day of changeable weather.
Leaden morning with rain on the way, midday strong wind and autumn sun with raining leaves.
I dusted off this Borsalino Qualità Extra Ssuperiore Amiata color and Goraita hat type
Lunch with the family in a neighborhood trattoria, a ballroom once in the sixties of...
Happy Monday everyone

It is an unlined, light and malleable homburg that was made a hundred years ago.
The proportions are the imposing...
Thanks. I'll try to show you other scarves and foulards, maybe coordinated with the hats.
I have a hollow one and others have arrived in inheritance :)
Thanks Joe. Yours last Mallory Ten is a star!
Thank you. I try to do my best and as I get older I am less prosecutable than when I was a bad boy
A hat for a professional appointment
Dunn & Co "proudly" made in the UK, that's what the sweatband says, more or less, but I have some doubts about the felt that seems to have been supplied by some European manufacturer
But you never know what happened in the making of hats in ancient times...
I hope to see you Rick and if you don't have the opportunity to come to Europe soon, write me what your size is and I'll see what I can show you interesting.
Yesterday we had a meeting with an architect to renovate the premises where my hat collection is located and honestly I've been thinking...
I totally agree with you Ala. Gorasgu type is imposing and very difficult to find in Italy with that shape, I think specific in Borsalino, for the American market, but you never know
