Thanks! I can't wait to see the eBay ties in person. The seller had quite a few of them up for sale (looked like well over 100) - said he was selling off his entire collection. Wow - everybody has such great hats! I just posted pics of a couple of my hubby's on the "Diamond Authority" thread, I thought I'd post more here. Hubby loves old hats (and ties, argyle socks, suspenders, and, and, and). We were able to pick up some real nice hats for $10 each (with hatboxes)... -

How to clean vintage barkcloth with dry rot?
That's exactly how I cleaned my barkcloth curtains when I first got them, and they turned out beautifully.
