The Cap Faction
Seabass, I have a serious case of cap envy! How does the cap hold it's shape around the edge? It almost looks like there is some kind of liner that helps it hold that rounded edge. -

Pure dumb luck, just watched the Roy Rogers video and gave it a try. My first re-bash. The felt was really easy to work with when wet and stiffened up nicely when dry. -

Here is my 40+ year old Texas Hatters western that I recently re-crowned with a double teardrop a la Roy Rogers. I had always felt the original crown was a bit too high, now I wonder if it is too short. What are your thoughts? -

Wait, you are one of the "younger guys". I've got friends even older than I who still look fine in short jackets and I would even opt to be buried in one except my sons won't go for that as they want the hand-me-downs.- Buzp

I agree with the chart. I have a deerstalker that I really like, but comments about are usually on the rude side so I don't wear it much. However a boss of mine several years ago really liked it and bought one and wore it a lot. His confidence (attitude) was way up there. -

St. Arnold is in Houston and is distributed regionally. The Lawn Mower is a German style Kolsch. I also like their amber ale. My son us a U. of Washington graduate and he used to send us the cheese. We can mail order it during the cooler months.- Buzp
