    Aero J106 - Too big?

I can't vouch for the photos in my Dropbox. That was a different jacket (steerhide) and I can't remember what I weighed at the time. I've lost 110 pounds since 2010. Unfortunately I jumped the gun and bought my dream jacket too soon. I want to say I weighed about 30 pounds more than I do now. I...

    Aero J106 - Too big?

Below is a pic of my size 42 J106. I've lost 50 pounds since I got it so it fits much larger on me than yours does on you. Even though it's not a "fashion" fit it is very comfortable and I can fit a thick fleece underneath that can get me down to 30 degrees easily. I've only worn it half a...

    Aero J106 - Too big?

Are you planning to actually ride in it? If so, how can we tell you if it fits without a pic of it zipped all the way up with an insulating layer underneath?

Thurston Bros. - Official Affiliate Thread

Sorry, I don't think I asked the question very clearly. :) I mean, can you deconstruct the old jacket, trim as necessary, and use it to build the new jacket?

Since I got my J106 last winter I've lost 40 lbs and I plan to lose 20 more. Is it possible to rebuild an Aero jacket in a smaller size?

And my boot sacrificed itself for me. :(

So...laid my bike down last night. :( I'm fine. Got a few scrapes and a nasty bruise on my hip. My HH Aero did its job and took the road rash for me. The only real damage to it is to one of the snaps on a belt loop. If you all sent me one could I fix it myself?

    Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

So I ordered some Red Wing Heritage engineer boots and they just aren't me. Thin soles...low heals...just kinda blah. I've got some Frye Harness 12R's on order in the Gaucho color. I've never really dealt with having boots resoled so I have a question. When the time comes (and I realize that may...

    Engineer Boots, Harness Boots...

I'm looking at some Julian-made RRL engineer boots and was wondering about fit. I am sitting here in size 11.5 sneakers (Vans to be exact) and I usually always wear an 11.5 or 12 depending on the shoe. Would I be better served in a 12 or should I size up to a 13? I can't get a good read from old...

Schott 641 horsehide fit & size?

Great looking jacket. Perfect fit around the torso and shoulders. The sleeves are too short for my taste, but that's a personal preference. Ride safe.

Horween USA and Aero Leather Joint Statement

That's the lesson I've taken away from this. Buy from Aero. Anything else is a "like new" used jacket.

Horween USA and Aero Leather Joint Statement

So you think this whole thing is a hoax? You think Aero smeared their own name just to smear Will's name? You think Aero, who is already up to their eyeballs with orders, opened themselves to making God knows how many replacement jackets free of charge just to smear Will's name? Really?

    lil joe's leather

I do like it a lot, but it is definitely not in the same class an my Aero jacket. I have lots of friends with Pakistani-made leather gear from rallies and the LJ is loads better (IMO).

    The weight issue

I'd only had my jacket a week when I found out it was steer. It's not so much that I dislike the steer, it's the simple fact that I paid for HH and, not being a jacket collector or connoisseur, I don't even know what HH feels like so I don't know if I'd like it better. I've been told I won't...

    lil joe's leather

I don't know. I like my Lil Joe's vest. There's nothing amazing about it, but nothing wrong with it either. I like the nomex lining a lot.

Please judge fit of my new A2

Good length, but too baggy IMO. Great looking jacket, though.
