That is just the way I measured out. With the closer fitting Sheene it sometimes requires an extra inch or so up top. Especially with a straight yoke and no guests.- Cookiemonster

Sorry for the typo. "Tapered from chest to waist" I'm 6'-0" and 215 lbs. 46" chest circumference. The waist measures 22" across if the jacket is laid down flat and measured from side to side.
