Does your machine have a zig-zag edge option? I think that would probably work... Can you test some of the stitching options on a small scrap piece first to see which holds/looks better before doing a whole garment?- Emer

Apologies for the un-glamorous bathrobe collar in this shot. This was my attempt at a sculpted Joan Holloway style up-do today. Worked like a charm as it was pouring and hailing! Anything that wasn't plastered to my head would have been a bird's nest by the end of the day! -
Ladies, what are you doing this evening?
Hubby is down with a horrible cold/flu/pneumonia/I don't even know what. So I'm next to him on the laptop (giggling at his medicine-induced snoring :p) and watching "I Love Lucy" from our collection. And it's utterly pouring outside! So much for sunny Southern California weather!- Emer

Turth be told I'm lucky; I really love my job and I have much more freedom than I did in my previous position (where I was in a uniform comprised of a shapless button down top)! And thankfully I can find plenty of office-friendly dresses that still give me that certain something ;) -

What makeup are you wearing today?
I love this foundation. I recently purchsed Urban Decay's "Naked" foundation, and aside from the $40 price tag , I can't tell a difference between it and ColorStay (in fact, I think I like CS better). As soon as my bottle is empty I'm going back to Revlon! -

Mascara on upper lashes only?
I use a blend of two mascaras. One is for defining, and one is for thickening. If I feel like my eyes need a pop, I'll use it on my lowers, but I agree with what a lot of girls are saying here. Sometimes it ends up smudging or making the eyes look darker. -
