Okay, it may be a hyperbole. The Aero goatskin I had was in a different color and I sold it many years ago, but I do feel the way it wears on my body feels very similar. You're right about the topcoat. It does seem heavier but it doesn't feel terrible. I've seen your trucker photos many times...- fasthall

Not as bad, but I *think* I can still feel it. I'm guessing my slightly sloped shoulder is bringing down the collar band hence putting pressure on my neck, but I've never experienced this before with other makers, heritage of fashion brands. There's not a huge difference in measurements either...- fasthall

I'm 5'9" and I agree I really want to keep the jacket! If the fit jacket is goatskin I know I'll definitely keep it. I've thought about it, But I found a small gap on the bottom really helps when riding. You're right, it's low-rise so it should be taken into consideration. I'll try some chinos...- fasthall

Thank you all for the feedbacks! I'd love to keep the jacket, but I need something lighter in both leather and lining since I need this for SoCal weather. I think I'm gonna go with extra 0.5" in length, since I won't wear this jacket for riding, I have Schott and armor undershirt for that :)- fasthall
