Up for sale is a 1940’s era Black Knox Homburg “Super Fine” quality hat in 7 1/4. I could only find that it has some obvious staining to the liner and some of the stitching has come off on the leather. It could use a light cleaning on the felt. Up for sale is a fine vintage Dartmoor Fedora Hat. The hat is a size 7 3/4. The inside is 24 1/2" circumference. The hat is 5" Tall and the brim is 2 1/2" wide. It's confusing dating these Stetsons. I bought this one years back on ebay and the seller said it was from the 1940's. From the research I have done the liner and the style doesn't seem to match up with the 1960's or later. There is no size tag or price tag unfortunately under the sweatband...- Constantine34

Greetings I was wondering if anyone knew the era of this Stetson I have. It used to say "Royal De Luxe Stetson" on the black sweatband. From the research I have done it seems black sweatbands were 1960's and later. Could it have been a replacement sweatband? There is no plastic on the liner...- Constantine34
