    My Grandfather's Hat

I can see that the hat was once a beauty. As long as the felt is in good shape they should be able to resurrect Lazarus. My Whippet was brought back so I see no reason that this Adam can't shine again. I can't wait to see the results. Are you going to have them recreate the ribbon treatment...

    Grindhouse

Finally got to see it this weekend and Tarantino & Rodriguez didn't disappoint. It was completely over the top including the fake movie trailers. I loved Rob Zombie's "Wearwolf Women of the SS".lol lol All of the tongue in cheek one-liners and references to their other movies. Anyway, we had a...

First vintage hat...I hope (Stetson derby)

Very nice score indeed!:eusa_clap :eusa_clap I have one that looks just like that. It is a Stetson "The Soverign". Furfelt from the late 40's early 50's, very much a bowler. I think you will like what you get. If the fit is a tad snug, just be patient with the stretching because it will deform...

    What is this hat?

It is a reproduction of course. But it looks more like a Stetson Stratoliner than an Open Road to me, or at least a variant thereof. I guess you could go either way with that. Also it could be a reproduction of a Borsalino Alisandro. It has a similar ribbon treatment. Cheers! Dan

    'The Office' hat...

Ouch! That just hurts to see such a dignified hat with a bar room crease in the brim.;) Cheers! Dan

Howard Hughes inspired full beaver Fedora!

Great looking hat with some dandy backdrops!:eusa_clap I have to say you do look like Richard Roxburgh as M in LXG with the moustache. Meant only as a compliment, you two could pass for brothers. Again I dig on the hat, and some aviator sunglasses would set off the Howard Hughes look...

    Accelerating The Break-in Process

Looks like a well worn friend only after three days. Thanks for the tip, I'll keep it in mind. Oh yeah, does any dye come off after misting? Edit: It looks like Sharpetoys beat me to the question. Cheers! Dan

    Berlin, Prague, and Vienna

So, would it seem that the majority of hat (being fedora or the like) wearers reside in eastern Europe, whereas the western half goes sans hat?:( Cheers! Dan

    B!Wear caps

My favorite B!Wear I dig on my brown herringbone. The plan is to get a couple more in the near future. I'm thinking a cream linen & either a black or midnight blue wool. I also have some leftover grey wool herringbone that is from a vest that my girlfriend had made for me. That would...
