I need advice on picking out an Indy style fedora

If an AB may not be afforded, might I suggest the Camptown 1936 Fieldmaster? It's a beautiful 50/50 blend of beaver & rabbit, wears like iron & shapes to what you want very well. It's well worth looking in to. A good bank for the buck. http://www.camptownhats.com/products.asp Cheers! Dan

    Camptown Metro...

The wait usually isn't too long. I think I had to wait a month or so for mine. It will depend on two things. How many orders he has along with the amount of bodies in stock & his real world work schedule (work & family). But I would generously say that they are well worth the wait. If you're...

    Camptown Metro...

Bump... So, since November have any members gotten a new Camptown hat? Are there any new Metropolitans or Fieldmasters to show off? I've been wearing mine in this foul weather we've had lately and they both hold up fabulously!:) Cheers! Dan

    Camptown Metro...

Why thank you very much! Yes, I'd say that's fairly accurate. I have a bit of a pencil curl on the rear of the brim but the sides up & front down that give it that distinctive grin to the brim from the front. Cheers! Dan

    The Cap Faction

That's my Pop back in 1950. He served as Occupation Forces in Germany, in the 28th Infantry Division, U.S. Army. One of my very treasured photos. Cheers! Dan

    Camptown Metro...

I've been away for a while, so I was wondering if anybody new has received a new Camptown recently. For those have had theirs for several months now, what do you think of the fit & shape now that you have it broken in a bit? So far I absolutely love my Metropolitan. It has gone with about...

Well I left a review over there. Now maybe I'll finally get some sort of a response from Alan and find out where in the mix my shirt is. WWII GI pants....

I let them pass by accident. I was a day late & a dollar short on that one. Oh well, I have some repros from over in China that respectively pass muster compared to a pair that my Pop had back in 1950 that were dated from 1944. Of course his had only fit me in Jr. High and no other time, my Pop...

1941 - Spielberg comedy, WWII style

Even Mickey Rourke had a part in there as one of the motor pool crew driving the tank and looking out of uniform. I loved the cameo rolls of those that were famous at the time in their respective tv rolls along with mainstay movie actors. What's funny is not long after this film Bobby De Cicco...
