i know its not US, there is no tags as stated, Buttons are metal as stated. The collar is embroidered. Im thinking its an early British transport/staff coat the griffin is very similar to the Gaunt griffins when looking at the buttons
Hey! i got this old peacoat, feels like the wool on the 40's Naval coats, but has the griffins on the collar and on metal buttons. There are sadly no tags, so its probably a long shot.
