I only found out they don't shrink by sitting in the ruddy bath for 2 hours. The 1952 101z which are invariably simply called the 101z by pretty much everyone, hence my confusion DO shrink. As for the core model I suspect the larger than average sizings are vanity based rather than anything else.
For anyone who reaches this textual archipelago, the core 101z don't shrink but do run large. I'm now sat in a perfectly comfortable pair of them at 32w 34l. Caveat Emptor and all.
I dither over Darcy stuff, as I sit unhelpfully between sizes, I take somewhere in the low thirties on my waist (company dependent) but invariably size up to account for my stupendously wide thighs. If they provided more detailed measurements I would be certain but as it is vacillation is my...
I quite fancy a pair of the vauxhalls, possibly in green cord. Might as well make use of being young and slim before it's gone. I'm going to try and pop down there when I'm next in the area.
I just picked up a pair of Lees 101z, the standard version not the 1952 variant, to replace a much loved but now poorly fitting pair of bog standard Levis. I tried on a pair of 34/34 but was under the impression that they shrink a fair bit, I read around 2 inches at the waist and leg, since I...
Yup, I would wear the flip out of any of these (minus the footerbags of course, I'm not suffering an attack of golfing). Somewhere at the back of my mind a fact rings out that human eyes can perceive more variations in shades of green than any other wavelength, if it's true then endless...
If I had the money I would buy one. Something at the back of my mind says that the Milford was waterproof as well as incredibly warm. and judging by the screen time delightfully prone to snapping in the wind in a just so manner. But it's a moot point since they are now rarer than diamond hens...
Hmm, I quite like the look of some of the Alexander Leathers stuff, particularly the Roadster. As a supplementary question would you say either the Aero HWM or the Alexander Roadster are larger or small in cut. I tend to layer up on most days so I prefer a bit of extra room for thick shirts and...
Cheers guys, to quickly answer your questions. My Budget is round about £500 at the moment, but I can stretch that after a bit. As for body shape..erm my vanity says thin but broad across the shoulders, whilst my self consciousness says more like a telegraph pole that swallowed a beach ball so...
Hi,
I have been lurking on the varying message boards here for longer than I wish to mention but now I have plucked up the courage to stick out a
hand into the torchlight and wave. I am looking to get my first "proper" leather jacket, I've had plenty already and am very fond of 3 of them...
Kind of on a similar note, I recently purchased a second hand leather jacket. It was a great bargain at only £30-odd for a sheepskin. What failed to occur to me is that it
smelt awful. I think it was kept somewhere a bit damp. I'd really like to get rid of the smell cheaply, rather than fork...
