As I take it, a full dress shirt takes two collar studs; a longer stud to fasten in the front; and a squatter, but otherwise identical, stud to fasten the back of the collar. I advocate many vintage things... but, like asbestos, I stay away from real glass lenses like the plague. Real glass, tempered or not, can chip or shatter easily when dropped. +1 The cliched answer is that, if you can wear the hat, instead of the hat wearing you, then generally it produces a pleasant effect. When you wear a hat with confidence, it shows.
