So... my guess is that this would be a Windward based on the pocket zip details, but I’m certainly no expert with these old jackets. Talon main zip, Serval on the sleeves. Hide is very thick. Epic patina. Too bad this thing is tiny! I’d also guess that it’s a women’s jacket, although it zips...
The one and only Himel I’ve owned/handled was a Kensington and was a work of art through and through. Too bad I got it second hand and it ended up being a size too small. I thought about keeping it just to stare at, hanging in the living room..
If anything, sleeves and body length just a touch too long for how I like to wear them. It’s possible that it will correct itself as it molds to you. I generally lose some sleeve/body length on a veg tan jacket as the creasing sets in. The fit sure doesn’t look bad by any means.
It’s pretty nice having a jacket with the option to layer a bit. I bought my PHWM a little loose for that purpose and it worked out great. That fit looks great on you.
Man, this whole get up just pops! I agree with @Tom71, the brown boots you’re rocking look very cool. I think it comes down to the shade of brown whether or not they’ll go with a black jacket, but I’m no fashion guru by any stretch of the imagination.
^^ thumbs up on the Thruxton R. I need to take a closer look at the Chrome! I just love what triumph did with the TFC, such an artful scheme all around. I gave up the bikes when we got married, but she let me buy a Viper, so she’s not all bad, I suppose. Compromise ya know.. I moved the...
Thanks man! Really only feels small when I zip it up. It’s a t shirt only jacket for sure. That Triumph of yours is a beaut!! I have my eye on a Thruxton TFC.. I’ve entered the “negotiation” phase with the wife, haha. She’s not the biggest fan of bikes.
My absolute favorite jacket today. This is the one that started it all for me back in 2019. The one Carrie told me not to buy, my yeah I know it’s too small but that’s ok because I didn’t eat this week and I’m playing a show tonight Board Racer. After 3 years it’s like a well broken in second...
