Lol but for real, completely different animals. Well, obviously literally, but figuratively as well...

The horsehide suede Type III is a very, very refined jacket, which is kind of out of Iron Heart's wheel house... It literally wears similarly to this Dior Homme suede trucker my wife bought me... Except more Iron-Heart-y, if that makes sense. While the Dior was poorly constructed of some nonsense calfskin split suede, the Iron Heart appears to be a full hide rough-out that's been trimmed and nubbed, possibly glass-jacked. It's rugged for sure, but it drapes and wears like a luxury piece.

The split steer rough out is a classic Iron Heart piece in every way- from the materials to the construction to the hang. A bomb-proof, heavy-as-hell, absolute murderer of a suede jacket. In my view, it is the quintessential IH leather Type III, even more so than the HH tea-core version. Accept no substitutes.

You said this 10x more elegant than I could. but yes, exactly. Like it's not something I say with IH very often, but that jacket is LUX feeling, not just supple and workwear durable, but a seriously high end feel to it. They absolutely knocked it out of the park. Insane quality and possibly the best suede jacket I have (albeit briefly) had the pleasure of owning.

I personally think it's the best moto iteration ever. If I don't end up keeping it here, it's 1000% the one I'm rebuying first next year. It's just so well made and the fit is perfect on my frame.

Christmas in July...

My wife kept asking, "Why are you in such a hurry to get home? Let's stop by Dad's house first."

So I dropped her off... and immediately raced home.

Not for food. Not to relax.

Just to try on the jacket first.

At this point, this isn't a hobby—it's an addiction.

I just keep telling her, "It could be worse, honey... at least I'm not buying boats."

Guys, I think I will be listing the Iron Heart horsehide suede type III just bought from this thread.

I'm so on the fence... it's such an incredible jacket, but a brand new little one has me running around on no sleep, skipping meals, and consequently, back to Berlin Trilogy-era Bowie thin. I think I just really need a 38/Medium. Though that may be too short. Dammit.

In any event, consider this one soft up for grabs, gentlemen. Size 40/Large. Worn twice. I'll most likely do a proper sales thread in the next couple of days.

@dmash Just Got the Double Helix Burgundy Moto. What an incredible fit. Thank you got The Jacket man. I absolutely love it even more so than the y'2.
