Yes, definitely that, but I was wondering about that low price even for a modern. I received it today, and really it’s got nice potential. It needs a lot of work. The sweatband is absolutely gross, as is the liner with some very sticky hair product (I guess) caked all over it. The pictures don’t show it well, but there’s no way I’m putting it on until I get rid of all that funk, lol. I think it’ll be nice to wear as a very cool beater, especially nice for the money.

Nice grab. I’m sure you will get it spiffed up in no time.

Has anyone else noticed lately an avalanche of dirty/beater/abused hats up for auction that are listed as "fishing hats", "driving hats", "Hat with character" or "hat with patina" What amazes me more than the description, is the fact that SOMEBODY is evidently actually buying them. Almost as funny as hats that are listed as an "Open Road trilby fedora hat" or how anything with a brim morphs into an "Indiana Jones" hat. And we havent even touched on the "Distressed" hats... things that look like what once was a decent hat thats been branded, felt ripped, or oil poured on it,Thinking I should break out a box of wooden matches and see if I can pass off some of my beaters as a custom Nick Fouquet hat. LOL
