It has a nice smell, nothing too strong. It's the first jacket I've bought new and also first Shinki so I don't really have a comparison. I had one Iron Heart with Chrome Tanned Himeji and I do have one Schott with Horween HH and those 2 smelled completely different. Each nice in their own way.

Got my Detroit yesterday. I placed the order in August so it was about 8 months. I'll post more detailed pictures when I get the chance but first impressions are very good.

Yeah, I mean a real 40. The modern models seem to be true to size.
