I had a similar experience with Stetson. I bought two straw Open Roads, both missing the JBS hat pin, from different vendors. Stetson sent me two for free, overnight shipping. I tell you this because it surprised me. Doesn’t surprise me from David Morgan.
Recent attic find locally, this hat has never had a permanent crease in it. It looks like it’s sat in a box for the last 60 years. Very similar to an Open Road. A few moth marks on it. Otherwise great shape. I added a Stetson hat pin that’s not pictured. $200 + shipping.
Tried my hand at growling and curing my own tobacco, in Idaho. Virginia tobacco cured with Tullamore Dew for flavor. After a year from harvest it’s finally smokable, pleasantly smooth.
