Hey ;)
I'm selling my Aero Leather Type III.
It was a recent purchase from just a few months ago, and hasn't seen much wear (break-in process barely started).
The reason I'm parting with it is I decided this style is not for me and I prefer longer jackets.
Below are pictures laying and worn...
Hey thanks for sharing your own experience. I wouldn't have thought about the impact of different blades but reading a bit into it, it seems it can make a huge difference. Seems to me that's part of the fun in the game ;)
I have to admit, I often wear "espadrilles" (with linen pants) in the summer...
Not durable at all, doubtful when it comes to looks, and the smell can be unpleasant according to some :D (I haven't had this issue)
But they're so comfortable !
:D Thanks for the advice, especially regarding advertising...
I'll have to try and see for myself. Honestly I wasn't so much sold on their "marketing" promise than dissatisfied with 3 blades that don't give me really great results unless I do many passings that leave my skin irritated and dry...
I have always used 3-blades razors (Gillette) until just a few days ago, I decided to purchase a Henson safety razor (AL13 is the model).
Supposedly they are great for people like me who are used to 3-blades and such.
I want to like it if only because it looks cool and less waste generated...
I'm into South-Korean movies these days. Well more like I'm trying to get into them, I picked a dozen from the most acclaimed ones of the past 20 years.
Last one I watched was "The Wailing" (2016 movie). Story about a retired cop turned pimp whose girls disappear one after the other at the hand...
Hey, new member here from Switzerland :)
Discovered the forum a while ago when looking for advices on leather jacket specs / fits, it was a great help.
I'm mostly into 60/70s fashion, often wear some flare pants these days, don't judge me :D
I'm in the middle of Balzac "Splendors and Miseries of Courtesans" (or "a Harlot High and Low").
Not the one I would advise to get started in Balzac since it draws a lot from previously introduced characters / subplots. But an amazing read nonetheless, very precursor of thriller / spy novels.
