@rougeclimber
I found a photo I took three weeks ago of the hat storage room. This is my room where I work for pleasure after retirement, surrounded by hats.
80% of the boxes you see on the left and right are full of hats to sell. The two closets are full of my collection as are the boxes above...
Beautiful and cold day.
A few days ago the snow fell low on the hills and the air is crisp.
The trees have the first buds and the almond trees are in bloom.
Walk to go and see the renovation work of the studio, the hats depository.
The cap is a "Harris Tweed" and the jacket is "Navigare"...
Yes it is possible.
Some boxes are closed in the 2022.
Reopen in the past months to make possible the census of the expendables=for sale :)

Thanks...

Thanks Stefan. The Guerra 1855 was sold in France. I never see this type in Italy. The felt is soft and beautiful, I ask myself the origin.
Thanks Joe. Merrimac is a very interesting hat, Famous Barr Surety Homburg a masterpiece. I like your choice in chosing hats not so common
Reggie this is...
Hello Bob, at home I can't find about Tullio Bertasio. In the next weeks I will search in my collection of old magazine and bulletin. As soon as I will find somenthing I will reply here.
I am slow in my search for interesting hats on the Italian and French market.
I have collected something, in the last weeks, to show you soon.
These are hats produced during the swan song of European hat making.
Today I am wearing a Guerra 1855 hat, a recent find, that does not show any...
