Today I tried to recreate the iconic hat worn by Major Leslie Hiddins during the abc tv series the Bush Tucker Man 1988-1996. I bash this Akubra sombrero with a kettle and spay bottle of water. I am happy with the results.

Thank you Pellie I love wearing my fedoras but in the over grown rainforest or outback it works well. Plus the nostalgia of watching the show as a child and watching it with my son makes it special.

Thanks, Nathan! The little extra crown height was intentional. I tried to keep the center crease as shallow as possible.

That Stetson 20 felt is so much fun to mold, I'd be tempted to do all sorts of stuff to it. Have fun Phil, but it really does look fantastic as is!
