Long time lurker, first time poster! Just got in this Innovator (with fur collar removed) done up in the same olive green as their N-1 Deck and A-2 Flight Jackets. Quoted 4 weeks rather than the usual 60 days, and they had it made within 2 weeks. It is noticeably darker of an olive compared to my A-2 I bought in February, but my understanding was the A-2 I bought from Hakuraido in Ueno was of an earlier batch and had sat in the store for a year or so, with some time partially in the sunny storefront, and may have faded.

I’d say that Innovator is quite the way to make an entrance! Welcome and congratulations on your beautiful new jacket. You nailed the fit. Cheers, Jon

Just unboxed this seal brown Hugging the Curve. First impressions… It’s even better than I had hoped. The leather is so beautiful. The full aniline leather is softer than the black semi aniline used on my Innovator. I’m glad I opted for the copper stitching. This jacket ticks all the boxes for me. This looks amazing. I love the combination of the leather and the copper stitching. That will pop even more as the leather ages. You can already see nice grain and character in the leather. Congratulations!

Thank you! I can’t believe it’s cold (for SoCal) & rainy here today so I can wear my new jacket to work. It’s very comfortable already.

How green is it? Is it kind of a muddy brown in most lighting, but green out in the daylight? And is the teacore turning to brown in spots, or is it pretty colorfast?

Mostly a muddy brown with green undertone in most lighting, inclusive of daylight. Pretty colourfast. If you're looking for a straight green olive, Y2 is the only place I've seen that has done an olive green to my liking.

I reached back out to DH and promptly got a response to my email. Apparently the first one got sent to junk. Anyway, very friendly email and a good suggestion on sizing for me, so I think I am going to go for the size 44 and shorten the body and sleeves.
