Changed the brake pads on my car this morning. After cleaning up, I spent the afternoon with the honey at a local golf course bar for a pitcher of beer. Perfect weather, with a slight breeze, for the Stetson 7x CB. View attachment 786064

In previous posts I forgot to mention the great Bow design and execution!

Brüder Dobesch, Hutfabrik Jospedo, Wien, 1938 envelope that I found back in 2012. I have never been able to find an old Brüder Dobesch Soft or Stiff Felt in my size or larger.

Back in felt as I return to my family is Israel. I will be traveling in this Rockel, made in West Germany. With a back bow, this will be pretty unique when I show up for services at my synagogue.

Very cool. This is the first hat I’ve seen with a back bow. Do you know anything about the history of this design choice?
