Great to see you Phil - very nice OR, terrific blocking!

But now I'm gonna have that song stuck in my head all day long.... :D

(Btw, have you heard Waylon's new album that his son put out? "Songbird". It's terrific - I really like it.)
Thanks, Nate! I have not heard the Waylon material you speak of but looks like I’ll be streaming it on my way back home in a bit. Running some errands up in Lauderdale County, AL today. Maybe I’ll make it home in time for the Bama kickoff around 1. I’ll be up your way next Saturday for a birthday/Iron Bowl party. Hope all is well with you!

Headed downtown this morning to see the vendors setting up at our little local "Christmas in Crockett" shopping fair. Thought Id get there early before the crowds got busy. Pic is just a couple blocks of a side street. The whole courthouse square is packed fr a couple blocks in all directions. ( last year we had rain and 35 mph wind.... much nicer this year)

Bright blue sunny sky so I figured I switch to a lighter Adam Premier

Could end up being a good day...My friends that let me put up a rack with a bunch of hats in their antique shop said Ive already sold two hats!

It would be great to meet in person, but I also have a birthday celebration next Saturday. You're not coming to my dad's birthday party are you? ;)

Safe travels today brother and enjoy that Waylon. He's my favorite of the outlaws.

More of the Mallory Ten that I posted a few days ago.

I've had this guy for about a year (edit: more like 18 months), but kept a center crease in it. The hat was a little tight and wouldn't stretch, so he didn't get worn much. Finally, early this week I gave in and put a c-crease in him.

Not only did that open up the size enough to wear but it also made the hat feel completely new and different.

This way, he reminds me of the hat Joseph Cotton wore in "The Third Man".

Definitely one of my favorites now. I haven't slept with a hat by my bedside in a long time, but this guy has been occupying that position these last few days.

Happy weekend all.

Very nice, Nathan. I always love it when happenstance (or subconsciously inspired genius) turns a problem child into something wonderful.
