Light blue Brock. I wore both so as to gently wear the minty 30's fedoras.

Very nice, HJ. That subdued-but-matching band is killer!
Thanks Mark. I’ve written about it before so won’t go in depth again but I had this hat built in 1989 after meeting Ritch & seeing his Old West line of hats at the Western Stockman’s Show a yr or two before. I bought the beaded hatband locally from a woman who made her retirement with beading. She has long since passed away & I have lost track of her daughter.

Well we made it through the long weekend. Thought Id continue with the curled brims again today. Today its an inexpensive Stetson Montes wool western that I specifically got on the cheap to learn how to do brim curls. It a shorter crown and smaller curl than yesterdays Resistol. I do actually have another Resistol project hat inbound that will also get some curl action.... figured I needed one in a lighter color lol

Today is the start of our new weekly "Hat Tuesday" series. I am going live at 11am EST while wearing my Knox Custom. This hat is a great choice regardless of whether you're on a mission from God or just cruising around town in an old Mount Prospect police car.

UPDATE: Today, I was joined two bespoke hatters: 1) Brian Forbes from the U.S. (i.e., Brian Forbes Hats, Eccentric Black Hatter) and 2) Paul John Murphy from the U.K. (i.e., Passion4Hats, PJ Murphy and Son).

Forgot to add a pic and when I went to edit, I realized I must have walked into another spider webb when I was headed out back lol! Another reason I need light colored hats sometimes
