Beautiful, beautiful hat!King's Umbrella today.
I intend to lean into this hat this summer. I can no longer wear straw due to skin cancer risks and this hat was intended as a warm weather hat, so I'm excited to see how it will hold up.
Besides, there are so many great points about this hat - it is very fun to wear.

Amazing, as always. Be honest, Eric: do you ever just sit in your hat room (wing? building?), look around, and giggle delightedly to yourself? If you don't, you're made of sterner stuff than I am.Good morning hat folks. Below are some hats I wore the past couple days.

Thanks, Timmy!Looking sharp Voo !!
Two absolute beauties, Eric!A VS Wanderer (silverbelly light beaver felt) was my hat choice for this mornings dog soirée. The Wanderer is a fedora inspired by the Stetson Wanderer.

Home and sipping coffee under the brim of a VS Wanderer (granite beaver felt). This hat was commissioned in prep for the 2012 Olympics. The vent holes, removable liner and a "special twist" on the right side of the hat. The twist is a nod to gymnastics. It garnered lots of compliments during my London shenanigans.

Sharp eye on ya Joe ! Even after reading your earlier description I hadn't noticed that the liner tip scale logo had the 2 packs of cigarettes. Cool stuff for sure !Yes, That one is the feather version…. I cant quite see.. but it looks like the tip protector logo may be the two packs of cigarettes version.
WOW !Got lost down a rabbit hole this morning hunting for the origins of this unusual mint color hat. I've had it for some time but don't wear it often. Apparently, University Club was a trademark of Murphy-Gorman Co. of Danbury, CT (home of Mallory, Lee and dozens more). Their more well-known trademark is for "The Celebrated Emerson Hat." They applied for this trademark in 1926 though from the union label, this hat dates after 1934. It has a handsome mid-ribbon panache and is, of course, in minty-fresh condition. ;^)
