What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

The LOTXXXX stamp from this lightweight hat with western leanings suggests a manufacture date in the 1920s. Charles E. Blair operated a store in Laramie from 1904-1927. He became mayor of Laramie in 1926 and his home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Cloudy details. Not sure if the imprint is for the store (which was called White House Dry Goods) or for him personally.

Postman just dropped off another nice summer straw. This one a Cute Dobbs with a two tone straw...Medium grey crown and black brim (2-1/8" brim.) Tag says the model is called the Sterling. Nice condition..... just a bit of steam and the random little dents are smooth and the brims straighter. Ill chalk this one up as an ebay victory

Anton Peschel Neutitschein, Stiff Felt, possibly later 1920s early 1930s and made for the Czech market. This is the only Anton Peschel Neutitschein Stiff Felt that I have, and the only one I have ever encountered, so a rare find. I found this Stiff Felt back in 2019.

The APN factory was demolished back in 2011, to make way for a shopping mall. I took these photos of the APN factory demolition when I visited back in 2011.
