It's a grey overcast day here @ Rock Bottom and I'm making the best of it under the cover of my new Stetson 25 Open Road originally sold by Ring & Brewer in Dallas, Texas. Most of my other Open Road hats have between 2-3/4 to 2-7/8 inch brims but this one is a whopping 3 inches. Must be a Texas thing.

Black hats, for some reason, have a funereal reputation. I disagree. A black Fedora can lift an entire outfit, it's a stylish accessory of timeless elegance. Mine was hand made by Susquehana Hats, it has never faded and still retains it's strong colour.

Always good to see some love for these from folks outside of my Jewish community. I've got lots of them, but don't wear any as nicely as Robert does.
