Sunday 11th May: the Fifth Annual Grand Flaneur Walk with The Chap. Boater weather!

Before the off, at the entrance to the Piccadilly arcade. Fabulous day, as ever. Gustav (Temple, the Editor of the Chap) has taken on board my badgering for an Autumn Flaneur as well, so hopefully we'll have a chance to parade in our colder season finery in late November.
This looks like an AMAZING amount of fun!

Y’all may have seen a factory built 50s Stetson wrapped like this, but I haven’t.
Came via FB purchase and the seller didn’t include pics of the bow side, so it was a welcome surprise!
Low price for a Stetson ME that included a nice original Stetson hat box.
Also have my new photochromic glasses on, but in the shade so they haven’t yet darkened in these pics. I nice feature when on the new Victory Cross Country Tour.
Been a long minute since I’ve upgraded my prescription, so I can see again!

Had to work in Osaka on Sunday, so took Monday off in lieu and stayed the night. Most of the photos (including fishy ones - sushi) are stuck in my camera that died, but this one is from Etsuko’s iPhone. Borsalino again.

Very bummed about the camera. It’s not that old. Clearly, I should be spending my money on things like hats that will keep going for a hundred years.

Great photo Edward, you must keep me posted on the Autumn Walk. My lady's recovery from surgery prevented us from joining this year's soiree.
