Yesterday I stopped at the bakery for some bread and fresh squeezed orange juice to bring home and make a lunch. I wore the Fox Brothers *** club check wool cap yesterday.

New cap from my visit to Delmonico Hatter.

Wigen's blue herringbone newsboy. 100% Shetland Wool. Wigen's calls it a classic newsboy with a model name of "Gottfried".

It's seems to vary in coloring appearance depending on the lighting. Sometimes it looks Grey and other times it's definitely blue.

I was a little hesitant about buying it. Simply because it's very similar to a Grey herringbone Gamble & ***n cap that I already own. But the price was heavily reduced because it was 2020 stock. So I then I just had to buy it. Lol

I like the hue of the herringbone wool. Shetland wool, from Shetland Sheep have a heavier fiber, is very durable and hearty. I see blue, black and gray in your images. I bet it will be very easy to pair with your hiking and outdoor clothing. It looks very sleek on the head.

Cheers. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, I'm becoming a fan of Shetland wool. It feels softer and seems to breathe better than Harris tweed.

I've worn it recently on 80 degree F days and it hasn't been too hot.

Blue, Grey and Brown seem to be my favorite color's to date. I haven't gotten accustomed to wearing Black caps yet.

Yesterday early evening we set a record temp of 92'f. Evening found humid temps with storms rolling through my neighborhood. An unlined cap was a good choice.

I was inspired to wear a red shirt back to work after seeing a Scarlet Tanager in the yard when home for lunch.

Another great looking cap. Love the pattern with possibly arrows between the segments. Very nice,.
